They were filming this frikkin movie called Take The Lead with Antonio Banderas on my street last night. As my window faces the wrong side of the street, I couldn’t see any of it. Yet as providence would have it, I could hear ALL of the noise. It started around 2am and it sounded like hooligans chanting after a European soccer match. This went on for almost an hour. Frikkin moviemakers…can’t they see I’m trying to sleep?

Now I know why they call Toronto Hollywood North. We Canadians will bend over and spread our legs for anyone who wants to make a movie here. Will it affect the people living in the neighbourhood? Will it affect the traffic patterns? Will it affect my beauty sleep? Who cares!
