So I ended up going to PunkinPalooza 2005 with my friend Jonathan. We had brunch and weren’t planning to carve pumpkins, but one of the girls, Tricia, was on her own and enlisted our help. They had a band, Vakum, playing the whole afternoon on the front porch while we carved on the front lawn. No cops came (probably cuz of the work action), and every passer-by stopped to take a peek. A couple neighbourhood kids taking in the music joined in on the carving too.
We had a great time. Here’s a link to the pics…oh yeah — we ended up winning the contest!

Fine! I will bow out graciously. No more questions, comments or concerns. I will continue reading your blogs (at least, until the novelty of you wears thin) in silence. Friends of Derrick should comment more, though. I particularly enjoyed the lovely Loretta disembowelling you. Did you end up meeting a girl, by the way? Oops…sorry! Old habits, you know :p
