I’ve been a vegetarian for over 15 years now. However, I don’t think I know a single vegetarian in Toronto. Whenever I suggest trying out a vegetarian restaurant to my friends, they immediately dismiss the idea as blasphemy. It’s quite frustrating.<\/p>\n
Until now, I’ve never thought of actively seeking out other vegetarians. After snooping around a bit last week, I’ve come across 2 online resources for vegetarians:<\/p>\n
I’ve also found a social group within the Toronto Vegetarian Association<\/a> that meets every month or so. The first gathering I’ll be attending is the TVA’s annual Vegetarian Food Fair<\/a>, which I’m ashamed to say I’ve never been to even though I’ve lived in Toronto for 5 years already.
